You Recently Applied for Two Separate Jobs – Model Answer 1

Dear Sir or Madam,

I would like to thank you for offering me the position of Senior Research Officer at your esteemed company which, I believe, draws top-class research scholars and academicians from all over the country. I also thank you for offering such great salary and benefits which, I think, are some of the best in the industry. However, I regret to inform you that I would not be able to accept the offer right now.

Despite being offered such a lucrative job, I will not be able to accept it because I have been offered another job. The offer has come from a university where I would have to work as an Assistant Professor. The reason, for which I have decided to accept this job offer, is that it would allow me to enjoy my time in a more interactive environment in the company of students than spending long hours in isolation in order to conduct the research works. Besides, this job would also allow me to stay close to my elderly parents.

Therefore, I would like to apologize to you for being unable to accept your job offer, even though it is a very lucrative one. Nevertheless, if I ever plan to work as a researcher, I will definitely apply to your company in the future.

Yours faithfully,
Manmindar Singh

You lost a certificate Model Answer 3

Dear Mrs. Ray,

I recently received a job offer for the position of administrative assistant. However, I have also received a job offer for another position that is much closer to my home. While your offer would be a great fit for me, the commute when compared to my other offer is less than ideal.

After considering my options, I must inform you that I will not be able to accept the position. I hope that this doesn’t inconvenience you and I apologize if I have wasted any of your time. I sincerely appreciate the opportunity to work for you, but I must also consider what is best for me in this case.

If the other position doesn’t work out so well, and the position you’ve offered is still available, maybe we can then make it work. Thank you again for the opportunity, I really appreciate it.

Sincerely,
Abdul Aziz
