Nowadays, a multitude of people goes to foreign nations to work and take their family members with them. This essay will argue that despite being some dangers of children forget their ancestor’s culture and traditions, the benefit of children becoming multi-lingual far outweighs any drawback.
The main disadvantage for a family working abroad is that children in the family start losing their cultural and traditional values. This is because they follow the host country’s festivals and their cultural norms to live their life. This makes them away from their origin country’s values. To illustrate, a recent study by Cambridge University found that nearly 40% of children who moved to another country due to their parent’s work had lost their own country’s traditions and culture. However, moving children to another nation widens their horizon.
The primary advantage for families is that this shift enables children in families to learn multiple languages. This is because at home parents talk to their children in their native language and at school teachers talk in the host country’s language. Living in this style helps children to learn more than one language much easier. For example, my friend is a democrat officer and he takes his family members with him whenever he moves to another country and due to this, his children speak multiple languages. Therefore, this skill will help children in the future to have better opportunities in work and business.
In conclusion, under the influence of a foreign culture, children becoming multi-lingual far outweighs any supposed disadvantages of children forgetting their own culture and tradition.

For a number of reasons, many people believe that working overseas and take their families bring a lot of benefits for them. Firstly, many people believe that by working overseas, they will earn higher incomes. As a consequence, their families’ standard of living and economic condition will improve, especially for people who migrate from third world countries to advanced countries. Secondly, some people are moving to another country due to in the new country, their children will get a better education. For instance, some people from Indonesia are migrating to Australia as permanent residences and work there due to they are hoping that their children could have the opportunity to study in world-class universities there. And lastly, working overseas will enrich and broaden the life experience of the workers and their families. They could have the chance to visit many great and historical places in the new country, learn a new language and make many new friends.
Despite all the positive things about working overseas and bringing the family members, there are some negative things that people should notice. There is a chance of a culture shock for the family members, as there may be some traditions and customs that might not be fit with them. For example, many western people might not be accustomed to the culture of the Japanese people who will bend their head when they meet other people. And then, there might be some difficulties for the worker and the family members in adapting with the local foods. Many western people are not comfortable with the Asian foods due to most of them are using spices and chilli.
In conclusion, it is true that numbers of people who are migrating overseas are increasing these days, and mostly they bring their families with them. Bringing family members to another country has its own positive and negative sides, but I believe that there are more benefits than the drawbacks, as long as we would learn to adjust and adapt to the new culture and environment.

This approach is considered to be beneficial according to some people in terms of comforted lives and securing a better future for their kids. Working overseas would enrich and broaden the life experience of the workers and their families. They could have the chance to visit many great and historical places in the new country, learn a new language and make many new friends.
Nevertheless, although immigration to overseas shows many advantages, their drawbacks should not be overlooked. Firstly, the people who work abroad do not contribute to their own country’s economy. To illustrate, the migration of skilled people to other countries has slow down the development of countries like India. Secondly, if the youngsters are living away from families in a highly competitive environment leads to a stressful life that provoke adolescents to commit serious crimes. Finally, the children and older people have to experience cultural shocks when they migrate to a new country.
In short, shifting to a new country may create retardation of native country economy, irritating life of teens and culture adaptation problem, but it provides world-class education and career opportunities, people can learn a second language accurately and quickly, growing friend circle.
